We regret to advise that Charles Moncrieff, CEO of HSBC Qatar passed away on 23rd September at his home due to natural causes. Moncrieff (49), joined the bank in Qatar on 24th January 2006. He had previously served HSBC as senior manager in Abu Dhabi, Singapore, Indonesia and Hong Kong. He had been with HSBC since 1981.
We are deeply saddened by his passing and our sincere condolences go out to his family.

HSBC will be holding a memorial service in memory of Charles Moncrieff on 8th October 2008 at 08:30pm at the Doha Sheraton Hotel and Resort in Al Majlis Hall.
